Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan
Senate Bill 98, approved by Governor Newsom in June, makes several key changes to accountability requirements for 2020-21, including the suspension of the annual Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) replaced by a Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (LCP).
The Chaffey District’s Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan addresses the needs of students in the 2020-2021 school year and the District’s plan to continue learning during COVID-19.
The LCP includes descriptions of in-person and distance learning, safety protocols, stakeholder engagement, student outreach, mental and social-emotional learning, and more.
Input has been provided by all stakeholder groups and the draft plan has been presented to the Parent Advisory Committee (8-20 and 9-2), District English Language Advisory Committee (9-9), and to the Board of Trustees (9-15). The final plan was approved by the Board on 9-29. The Plan is posted here.
The District will submit the Plan to the County for review and respond to any recommendations by the November 10 Board meeting.
